The FARO Vantage series comprises portable, high-precision laser trackers engineered for efficient large-scale 3D measurement in environments like aerospace, automotive, shipbuilding, and heavy machinery. Designed to reduce inspection cycle times by up to 75%, they measure 3D coordinates by following a target (typically an SMR) moved across the object. The Vantage line includes:
Vantage S / S6 Max: Up to 80 m range, with 3DoF (angle + distance). The S6 Max adds 6DoF probing for enhanced inspection productivity.
Vantage E / E6 Max: Up to 35 m range, with 3DoF, and E6 Max includes 6DoF probing.
All models feature ActiveSeek™ (auto-target acquisition), RemoteControls™, iADM combined angle and distance measurement, integrated weather station, hot-swappable battery, rugged build, Wi‑Fi control, and versatile mounting.
