The 1 day basic training package is intended for very simple use of the scanner & Scene software. The course consists of a short overview of the scanner & its functions followed by a brief practical demonstration when live scan data will be captured. The majority of the day will be focused on basic use of the Scene software.
Laser Scanning Basics – Hardware Programming & Setup – Target Placement – Faro Scene Project Creation –Registration & QA of Data Registration – Filtration & Clean-up of Data – Data Colourisation.
The 2 day Intermediate basic training package is our most popular course and the one we would usually recommend for new users prior to carrying out any scanning work. The course consists of approximately ½ a day of practical scanner use & 1 ½ days of Training on Scene software and its functions. The 2 day course provides a much more in depth coverage of the scanner and software and gives the grounding knowledge a novice user would need to use the scanner correctly.

For intermediate or advanced users we are able to provide bespoke training packages on a consultancy basis. This generally consists of a tailored training programme based on a list of questions and queries requested by our client.
We will work with you to solve specific problems and issues and develop the most streamlined techniques possible for your specific application.
